Fitness Friday Link Up: November Challenges

Welcome to Fitness Friday!

Fitness Friday will be a weekly link up where we can all write an update on how our week went concerning diet changes, exercise, weight loss or inches lost, our achievements for the week and our failures. It can also include our goals for the following week, any healthy recipes, fun workouts or fitness products you’d like to share. If you’re a blogger, feel free to write your own post and link up at the bottom so we can all visit your page. If you’re not a blogger, you can share by leaving your comment at the bottom of this post. JOIN US!

How Was My Week

I actually had a pretty good week which was so nice considering last week was such a flop. I still found it really hard to make time for myself and there were quite a few nights that I said ‘forget it’. I gave up and wasn’t going to go to the gym. It was late, I was exhausted and I threw in the towel. But then… thanks to the fitness groups that I am in that provide awesome motivation… I got up, threw on my shoes and left for the gym. I was a bit disappointed about my mileage this week. I did 3 miles each day on the treadmill – 3 days total. After then treadmill I did a few abs machines and then some other machines. I feel good about my week.

I’m looking forward to next week. Considering I got a little bit back on track this week, I’d love to pick up the pace next week. I’d like to go 4 or 5 miles each day along with abs and I’d like to go 5 or 6 days next week. Besides the miles, I’d like to do full workouts, either upper body or lower.

Other Health and Fitness Link-Up’s and Challenges

I’m in a bunch of fitness groups and am finding other health and fitness link up’s. This week I am linking up with Ashley from Training Thursday’s.

I also joined a couple of challenges.

One challenge is with MCM Mama called the #NovemberMileage Challenge.

***By the way, I’m looking for HEALTHY SLOW COOKER recipes – if you have any, share them! I don’t have time to cook, I need to use my slow cooker. Between therapy coming over all week long for Jack, and doing daycare during the day time, I just don’t have time to “cook”. Plus slow cooker meals seems to feed my family of 8, and if not, I just double the recipe.

***I am also looking for HEALTHY SMOOTHIE or JUICING recipes that I can give Jack. He sees a nutritionist once a month and we’re trying to get more calories, fat and nutrition into him. If you have a healthy recipe, please share!

  1. I’m looking forward to my first Holiday Sweat challenge!
