Frozen Fruity Yogurt Pops Recipe | Frozen Fruit Month (March)

A big thanks to Wyman’s of Maine for providing the frozen fruit for this post. All opinions are my own.

Did you know that March was “Frozen Fruit Month”? I had no idea that “Frozen Fruit Month”  was such a thing but when I found out – I decided to make the kids Frozen Fruity Yogurt Pops with Wyman’s Frozen Fruit to celebrate!

Frozen Fruity Yogurt Pops Recipe | Frozen Fruit Month

We buy a LOT of frozen fruit – it’s the best way to go during the cold months and it’s just easier to buy frozen fruit when there are so many people under one roof. We can buy the simple fruit like apples, bananas and oranges but it’s hard to buy good berries all winter long when you live in Chicagoland haha. I usually buy three large bags of frozen fruit each week: a bag of strawberries, blueberries and a bag of mixed berries. Wyman’s of Maine is one of my favorite brands when it comes to buying frozen fruit.

Emma makes her and Becca a fruit and yogurt smoothies every single morning for their breakfast so we go through a ton of frozen fruit!

I wanted to make something fun for Gracie and my daycare boy. I’m not a big fan of ice cream and sweets so I thought I’d trick them haha. I make them Frozen Fruity Yogurt Pops with our Wyman’s Frozen Fruit.

Frozen Fruity Yogurt Pops Ingredients:

  • Vanilla Yogurt
  • Fruit (I used Wyman’s Wild Blueberries)
  • I added honey because I use Greek Organic yogurt and it tends to be a bit more sour than the traditional yogurt.

I blended all ingredients and then spooned it into little dixie cups… you know, those little paper cups for kids – they are the perfect size for making these frozen treats and they come off easily too.

Instead of using popsicle sticks, I saw a commercial on the kids channel where they used fruit or veggie sticks instead of popsicle sticks and I thought that was an awesome idea so I used carrots as sticks!
