We all love hoodies.
The kids do, I do. Mike does. We all regularly wear hoodies so a person can never have enough. We love shopping at our local retail store because a lot of times we can find lots of hoodies (and jeans) at fantastic prices. When I’m browsing online, one thing I keep my eyes open for is hoodies.
Recently I was browsing through New Look because I love their tops. I was actually on the search for a long sweater that I could wear with leggings and knee high boots and throw on a scarf and jewelry… something like this:
I found this t-shirt and I thought of my teen girls. I think this would look awesome on them with some skinny jeans and the same set up: knee high boots, scarf, some hoop earrings and BAM! They’d look awesome!
Why is it when I am trying to shop for myself, I always find things that I think would look great on my teen girls?!? I could kick myself every time – I constantly talk to myself and say, “ComeON – you just spent tons of money on those girls… not it’s time to shop for YOU!” Ugh, I hate that. But that’s exactly what happens. And when I was stumbling across things that would look great on them… I came across the hoodies.
New Look has so so many sweatshirts and hoodies to choose from. Pull over hoodies and sweatshirts and zip up hoodies and nicely priced too! I know the girls are going to go crazy wanting too many when I show them this. I’ll have to limit them to only choosing two or three for now. Maybe they can use their own money to buy another one or two.
Of course here in Chicagoland we are beginning a week of our Indian Summer so it’s going to be super hot this week, but after this week is over we’re heading into fall so we will be breaking out the hoodies for sure.
What about you? Does your family live in hoodies as much as we do?
