We got so see the show last night and we had so much fun!
Don’t Miss This One!
The Rosemont Theater is a great theater to see any show, every single seat has a fantastic view of the stage.
The kids had an awesome time singing and dancing!
Check out some of our photos…
This show had you dancing the whole time – the music was great. We got to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy… and then Ariel, Eric, Sebastian and Ursala, then Princess Jasmine, Aladdin and Genie, and Woody, Buzz and Jessie.
One of my favorite parts was when Ariel’s sisters came out to sing “All the Singles Ladies” – Hilarious! They did the exact dance moves too! That was great!
Oh and the cast sings a song in the beginning to get the crowd going and Gracie and Jayden LOVED it. Part of the song goes, “Clap your hands – (clap, clap, clap) – Stomp your feet – (stomp, stomp, stomp) – Raise the roof – (raise the roof with your hands and scream WooWoo!) – SCREAM! SCREAM! SCREAM!” It took the kids about two times to “get it” with me singing and guiding them and then they got it and totally sang and danced along. This was SO MUCH FUN!
The kids got some fun toys, Jayden got a cool light-up Buzz sword, Gracie got a pretty horse for her Disney Barbie-type dolls, a Little Mermaid stuffed toy and a pretty princess cup. Both kids and Mike (Yes, Mike) got Mickey Mouse ears with their cotton candy – Oh and we got a bucket of popcorn to take home too.
Another good thing that we noticed was the show was not too long. Sometimes these shows last too long and it’s hard to deal with the baby or younger kids. The show started at 7pm and we were on the road at about 9pm and that was even with an intermission.
Disney Live! Mickey’s Music Festival is playing TONIGHT (March 16th) and tomorrow too so if you are in the Chicago area, GET TICKETS! You don’t want to miss this show!
