  1. Haha! I did this in jr. high and my dad flipped! It took a few washes to get out though.

  2. That is too cool. She has such beautiful hair and I love the curls you put in the after picture too!

  3. I love this… seriously makes me wanna dip my hair in some kool-aid and we have a bunch of different kinds too, hehe.

  4. This looks really neat, and it’s nice that it is so easy to do!! Are all your kids wanting this done now??!!

  5. Now that’s an interesting idea. Remember when everyone dyed a little part of their hair blue or purple against Domestic Violence Abuse? If we ever do that again, I would use this! I have boys, and with hubby around, they don’t DARE ask me to dye their hair ANY color! LOL!

  6. I may try this and freak my hubby out. I think purple should do it.

I love it and your blog. I am following you and also just subscribed in my Google reader.

Thanks for the link love. Please do drop over and add your link to mine. Can we ever get enough free link love?

I hope you have a great week and Happy WW! :-)

  7. My sister used to do this when we were teenagers. She has very blonde hair and the koolaid would dye it for several days.

  8. That’s so funny that we did the same thing for WW… only I didn’t use kool-aid. My cousin died her daughter’s hair with kool-aid back in October and it just now washed out so I used the Monster High “chalk” from Wal-Mart and it washed right out.

  9. I never knew that dying your hair with Kool Aid was a “real thing” until you posted about it the other night. Really neat!! Can’t wait to see how long it lasts in her hair.

  10. That looks really cool about how long does the color last?

  11. Looks great!! Such fun! I can’t wait to hear the update on how long it lasts! :)

  12. It looks like it was a success. My hair is so dark that this would have no effect… :( sometimes I wish I was blond like my sisters so I could do fun stuff like this. But I would look really strange as a blond.

  13. Wow…that looks very cool!

  14. This is So cool!! i don’t know if it would show on my girls hair.. it’s so dark, but I love the idea!

  15. I was talking about that the other day after seeing your post. My neighbor has a few little girls and is loving the idea of safely giving them the look they want.

  16. Ohh, this takes me back. I remember when I was like 12 or so, my cousin and I thought it would be hilarious to dye her sisters beautiful blonde hair with red kool aid when she was sleeping. Needless to say, she was pretty ticked when she woke up lol.

Jeg mÃ¥ bare se dere live igjen snart.

  17. i soooo wanna do that – but jeff thinks my hair is too dark.. think i need to try to prove him wrong
