Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler Review and Giveaway

For more than 70 years, the Rubbermaid® brand represents innovative, high-quality products that help simplify life. From its original line of simple, durable housewares, Rubbermaid has developed a major presence in a wide array of categories ranging from home and garden to seasonal and commercial products. Recognized as a “Brand of the Century”, Rubbermaid is one of only 100 companies named as having an impact on the American way of life.
Who doesn’t love Rubbermaid? Come’on… we all do!

I have Rubbermaid bins in almost every room of my house –as we speak– because we just moved. Over the years and through our many moves, I buy Rubbermaid storage bins instead of using boxes. Boxes are fine for the things we will be unpacking, but I prefer the storage bins for the things we are going to keep put away.

I also love Rubbermaid food storage containers. We are such a large family that we need to make big meals that will last us more than a day. We always have left overs!

When I found out that I was going to get the new Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler, I was excited!

We *want* to be a recycling family, but it is tough getting started. With so many of us here, it seems easier to just throw everything out in the garbage.

Now that we have the Hidden Recycler it is much easier!

The Hidden Recycler attaches to the inside of your kitchen cabinet door, so it is out of site, but still very convenient!

It lifts out with the handle so you can carry it easily right to your recycle bin.

Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler:
  • Hinged lid attaches to cabinet door with over the door hooks or screws
  • Bag is made from 65% post-consumer resin
  • Bag is machine washable
  • Comfortable handle for transport
  • 5 gallon bag holds 36 uncrushed cans and is large enough to fit 1 gallon milk jugs
  • Great for single stream recyclers
  • Great for apartment living
I really like Rubbermaid’s New Hidden Recycler!

I had it under my sink in the cabinet for my convenience. I could rinse the cans or milk jugs and then right away toss them under the sink in my recycler. It’s so easy! Especially for someone like me who is kind of new to recycling.

I wish I had a photo to show you, but we just moved and everything is still packed.
I had my Hidden Recycler set up similar to this:
See how convenient this is?!?
