Thanksgiving Kid Crafts on My To-Do List

Now that Gracie is so much older, these kinds of crafts are going to be so  much fun to do with her… not to mention an awesome keepsake.

These would be great for babies or toddlers.
These crafts that use real hands (or feet) are my favorite, these are the ones that I hang on to.

I love looking back on them!
I like this one too because of the hands… but it’s not as sentimental as the others:
And this one is perfect because it uses hands and feet:
This one will be fun for Gracie and my daycare toddlers.
I am only going to do the pasta turkey, not the book part.
They are too little (2 yrs old).
It will be fun for them though!
And this one – it’s more of a gift.

I think I am going to pick up a little basket from Michael’s and I’m not sure where I am going to get the towel/cloth to cover bread – but I think this would be an awesome gift from the little kids to their mom:

Isn’t this a cute idea?

Another handprint craft… LOVE these!

Have you found any others on Pinterest? I am totally looking for more!

This is all I have found so far, so leave me a comment below with the link if you find something else.

Of course I am only looking for something that would be fun for a 2 year old.

  1. Those are some awesome ideas! I remember doing the turkey prints when I was in kindergarten. I have to do that with the kiddos. I especially love the cloth one for a bread cover. That's perfect for our Thanksgiving dinner since we are having it at our house this year. 🙂 Thanks!

  2. Aww these are such cute ideas. I especially like the turkey made out of the pasta. I woulda never thought of that!

  3. I love the pasta turkey!

  4. I love handprint mementos!! Great ideas!

  7. I’m writing because I run a sensory site and am looking for great ideas for Thanksgiving. And as any parent, we’re looking for terrific Thanksgiving crafts and ideas for kids with Sensory Processing Disorder and on the Autism Spectrum. Would you add a link to a craft idea or two on our blog? Here’s the link to share and get more traffic to your site…

  8. what type of paint would you need to buy to have it stay on the fabric? I love the idea of the handprint turkeys on a cloth napkin! Re-use it forever and remember their little hands.
