I am in love with Baby Bond!
For those of you who have not heard of Baby Bond, let me introduce you:
It was in 2006 that her idea for Slurp & Burp® was born. Since then, she has designed three product lines to meet the needs of a variety of nursing moms and babies. They have since rebranded to BabyBond™, a name that highlights the primary benefit of their products.
BabyBond has 3 different styles of Nursing Covers:
- The Original is BabyBond Original™ is worn like a sash, functioning like a nursing top. Nurse from the top of your shirt. Separate the layers of fabric to achieve latch on. Double panel keeps breast covered above & below.
- BabyBond Flex™ is worn like a sash, functioning like a nursing top. Nurse from the top of your shirt. Separate the layers of fabric to achieve latch on. Double panel keeps breast covered above & below.
- BabyBond Couture™ is adjustable creating a custom fit as your body changes after baby arrives. A hybrid between nursing top and belly band, it can be worn to nurse from the top or the bottom of your shirt so it works with your entire wardrobe. When worn like a sash, it functions like a nursing top. When worn like a belt, it functions like a belly band. Rolls up into self-storing pouch.
I was sent the BabyBond Flex to review. The very fist thing I noticed was the awesome material. It is 100% cotton and it feels like a comfortable t-shirt. It’s not too thick or stiff like some of the other nursing covers that I own. I could not wait to try it on. Once I got it on myself, I loved it even more. This was somewhat loose fitting and so comfortable! It literally felt like I was wearing a comfortable t-shirt.
This nursing cover is perfectly fitting so that you can feed your baby, but without exposing yourself at all! I like the BabyBond cover so much more than any other covers I have used throughout my 14 years of motherhood. All of my other nursing covers are the type of covers that cover the whole baby
How sad. All of these years I have fed my babies out in public by covering their whole heads with a blanket or cover. While I was covering up my baby to feed, I was totally losing the ‘bonding’ that I could be doing by making eye contact with them, interacting, and communicating with them while feeding.
I wish I could go back in time and do it all over again! I was never ‘shy’ about feeding, but I have gotten enough slack over the years that I just automatically covered up. I got sick of the ‘fight’. Sick of people telling me I was offending them. (Even though these same people would not have a care in the world about watching half naked women on tv)
The BabyBond Nursing Accessories are for sure my favorite. I would recommend these nursing covers above all the rest that I have ever tried.
